In easy language we can define overclocking as a process in which hardware setting of central processing unit is changed to gain the faster performance of the system.This can be referred as bus speed of mother board.

The chips of CPU are tested by the manufacturer to see at which speed the chips fuse then they set the speed lower then the fuse level.The enthusiastic people set the chips at the fuse level.This whole process is called overclocking.

There are some advantages as well as disadvantages of overclocking.The main purpose of overclocking is to gain speed (about 20%-30%)

Disadvantages

1 The warranty of hardware component will be disabled.

2 Overclocking shorten the life time of hardware component.

3 More power consumption takeplace through overclocking.

4 More power consumption results more heat release.

so the conclusion is that if the system is running well then there is not need to disturb the hardware setting.

what is chrome os

chrome os is a small os which is entirely based on the web.It mainly used by netbooks.it is like unix.The chrome is like a browser and it is a not receplacement for the desktop operating system.
There are some main features of chrome operating system.
It has fast booting time as compair to others
It is totaly based on web.
Small user interface.
Store data in the cloud in encrypted form.
Require password on every boot.
Chrome os is specially for those computers which are only to access the internet and it does nt work efficiently on virtual machines.The user interface also require some improvements.

plugged in not charging solution

This message come due to many reasons . There are two solutions for this problem.
Method 1
Unplug the charging wire and take out the battery then press and hold the power button for 60 seconds after that attach the battery and plug the wire the laptop will start charging
Method 2
Shutdown the laptop ,unplug the charging wire .Place the laptops bottom on two books side by side .Give it rest for five minutes the plug the charging wire it will start charging
